Grenada Ministry of Health Observes World Physiotherapy Day 2026 with Community Outreach Events
In celebration of World Physiotherapy Day 2026, the Ministry of Health Grenada, through its Physiotherapy Department, is hosting a series of community outreach events centered around the theme, "Move Better. Live Better."
The global campaign highlights movement as a fundamental pillar of health and well-being, emphasizing that regular physical activity plays a key role in preventing and managing noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) while improving overall quality of life.

Free Health & Wellness Services Provided
Physiotherapy: Educational talks on the role of exercise, live exercise demonstrations, and strategies for preventing and managing noncommunicable diseases.
Health Screenings: Free blood pressure checks, blood glucose monitoring, weight management assessments, and personalized health consultations.
Nutrition Support: Presentations on maintaining a balanced diet, advice on foods to avoid, and targeted dietary strategies to prevent NCDs.
Mental Wellness: Stress management techniques and practical guidance on living well with chronic noncommunicable conditions.
Organized under the slogan "Movement is Medicine," the initiative brings together multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to promote active living, healthy eating, and stress management across local communities.
