Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell has officially announced that Grenada’s general election will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2026. The announcement sets the stage for voters across Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique to head to the polls nearly a year ahead of the constitutional deadline.
Following the dissolution of Parliament and the issuance of the writ of election, the timetable for the electoral process is now officially underway. Nomination Day has been set for Wednesday, October 15, 2026, when political candidates across all 15 constituencies will formally submit their nomination papers.
