The Ministry of Social and Community Development, Housing and Gender Affairs—through its Division of Gender and Family Affairs and the Parenting Education Unit, has announced the Parenting Facilitator Training Programme aimed specifically at unemployed individuals across Grenada.
This programme will be operating under the slogan "Stronger Parents, Brighter Communities," the initiative seeks to equip participants with professional facilitation skills to support local families and strengthen community structures. The 9-month training programme is entirely free and leads to a recognized Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) Level 3 certification.
The Ministry is inviting applications from passionate, unemployed persons committed to family and community empowerment.
Candidates should possess:
Strong communication skills
An approachable and patient demeanor
The ability to engage and lead group sessions effectively
High reliability and dedication to community development
